
Singing River Electric Power Association is sending a six man crew to Guatemala on July 18. The crew will be gone for 15 days and in that time will assist the Municipal Electric Utility of Jalapa in rebuilding power lines and educating their lineman on line construction and how to work safely.
The Singing River Electric crew will work to build electric services in Jalapa to serve two villages with 100 families who currently do not have electric service. The crew will also train the electric utility’s ten employees on how to build power lines and how to work safely.
