Mississippi Development Authority's Energy Division will soon launch a residential rebate program for the purchase of Energy Star-rated appliances. The program will begin in April 2010. It is intended to save energy and stimulate the economy by encouraging Mississippians to replace their old appliances with new Energy Star qualified models.
