SRE holds successful annual meeting

    LUCEDALE, MS – Singing River Electric held it's 69th annual meeting at the George County High cafetorium where members learned their co-op had a good year in 2007.
    "We had the best safety year on record," stated general manager and CEO Lee Hedegaard. "And growth returned to normal levels with 1,755 new members added this past year."

     Service area improvements and further implementation of the automated meter reading service were highlighted as well as concerns for what lies ahead for the electric industry and how that may affect Singing River Electric members.
