Electric cooperatives are member-led and community-focused organizations that work to efficiently deliver affordable, reliable and safe energy. We are led by members like you who understand and listen to our communities.
Singing River Electric’s member-consumers are represented by a board of directors made up of 10 members. These directors help manage the business and affairs of the electric distribution cooperative and are elected for a three-year term. In order to assure representation of the geographic areas served by the cooperative, the board of directors represent fellow members in three districts: District 1 – Greene, Perry, and Wayne counties in Mississippi and Washington County in Alabama; District 2 – George and Stone counties in Mississippi and Mobile County in Alabama; and District 3 – Jackson and Harrison counties in Mississippi.
Thank you for your participation in the business of your co-op.
