New Signage Enhances Education at Pascagoula River Audubon Center

Visitors to the Pascagoula River Audubon Center in Moss Point are now greeted by vibrant new signage that enhances navigation and education throughout the property. The cohesive system includes entrance, interpretive, wayfinding, and safety signs designed to guide conservation enthusiasts, members, and first-time visitors across the grounds.

The signage project was made possible by a $2,500 Singing River Electric Neighbors Helping Neighbors Community Grant, which supported upgrades across the center. Guests can now more easily explore exhibits highlighting the unique ecosystem of the Pascagoula River watershed, native animal displays, botanical gardens, kayak rentals, and a variety of classes and camps for both adults and children.

“The new signage not only gives visitors clear directions around the grounds but also supports our educational programs by labeling plants in the demonstration garden, allowing educators to reference them more easily during presentations,” said Center Manager Mary Rodgers.
