Our crews are prepared should TS Cristobal shift east

The National Weather Service is expecting Tropical Storm Cristobal to be near the Bay of Campeche for the next few days before moving toward the central Gulf of Mexico. Regardless of the track or intensity, heavy rain is possible across south Mississippi late this week and early into next week.

Singing River Electric has activated its storm preparedness plan and is monitoring the storm and its progress. Our crews are ready to respond and restore power at home should the storm’s track shift our way, or away if needed.
