SRE Employees Wear Red to Recognize Deployed Military

Singing River Electric employees are wearing red on Fridays to support coworkers who have family members deployed.

Gina Smoak and Mollie Box, who both work in Singing River Electric’s Lucedale office, have sons who have been in Kuwait for the past year. Gina’s son, Stephen Smoak II, is serving with the Army National Guard in combat engineering. Mollie Box’s son, Nick Box, is serving in the Army Infantry.

Wearing red on Fridays is part of Remember Everyone Deployed’s (RED) mission. This organization wants to unite all Americans who support our deployed service members and have the entire United States wearing red on Fridays. For more information, visit https://remembereveryonedeployed.org,
