Singing River Electric Cooperative has implemented its Emergency Preparedness Plan and is completing preparations for the storm.
Crews will be briefed this morning and will continue to work to restore power as long as it is safe to do so. Once conditions deteriorate later today, employees will be called in for their safety. Following the storm, crews will restore service as quickly as they safely can, but members should be prepared to be without service.
Consumer-members who rely medical equipment that requires electricity, should make sure they are at a location where there will be electric service, like a shelter that is equipped to deal with medical needs. The quickest and easiest way to report an outage in seconds and view a live outage map is to download our SmartHub app:Â https://singingriver.com/smarthub/Â Members can also report outages via phone at 601-947-4211 or 228-497-1313; high call volume is expected.
